Care and Maintenance Tips

At Mulet, we love the work we do. The wood we work with is reclaimed, and we treat it ourselves from the very beginning. We love wood because it's a renewable, organic, and versatile resource that allows us to decorate rooms in a thousand different ways and add a warm touch to our homes.
But we mustn't forget that, as a natural material, it ages and deteriorates over time. While it's true that every wood is different, and that its cracks and scars reveal part of its history (something we love), it's also true that it requires care to last as long as possible with us. That's why we want to ensure that our customers understand the characteristics of our products, are aware of the changes they may undergo, and agree to take the following precautions to prevent possible natural deformations in our furniture.
For this purpose, we leave you some maintenance guidelines:
  • Remove dust with a soft or slightly damp cloth, not wet.
  • Do not use abrasive products, chlorinated products, degreasing products, or linseed oil, which will stain and blacken the wood.
  • Avoid direct exposure to the sun and heat sources.
  • Sudden changes in temperature and low humidity can cause warping and cracking.

Following these precautions will prevent your furniture from deteriorating. If you have any questions about the maintenance of your product, responsibilities, or warranty, please feel free to read the General Conditions of Sale , where we explain everything in more detail.
